to sing in the Community Choir or play in the Community Band at the Christmas Inaugural Gala for the new AHS Performing ARts Center Monday, December 17, 2018.

Aberdeen Arts Council 2018-2019 Season

The 2018-2019 Aberdeen Arts Council Season has been finalized. You can look forward to the following events:

  • Aberdeen Performing Arts Center Inaugural Concert featuring the Aberdeen Community Band and Choir. December 17, 2018, Aberdeen Performing Arts Center — 7:00 PM
    Tickets: No cost, but donations to the Aberdeen Food Bank will be accepted.

  • THE SOUND OF MUSIC
    March 7, 8, 9, 11, 2019 — 7:00 PM, Aberdeen Performing Arts Center
    The classic music makes its return. First produced by the Arts Council in 2003, we are happy to present it again in the new auditorium.
    Auditions will be held early January. Contact Wayne Millett for more information.
    Tickets: Adults – $8.00. Children 12 and under – $6.00.
  • AAC/Evan Wride Senior Scholarship – Applications are due February 28, 2019.
  • Youth Drama Camp – “Porridge” – June 17-22, 2019Aberdeen Performing Arts Center
    Camp Fee – $25.00
    Performance on Friday & Saturday, June 21 & 22, 2019 as part of Aberdeen Daze
    Tickets:   Adults: $5.00 – Children: $4.00

Become a PAC-PAL

The Aberdeen Arts Council is raising money for additional equipment at the Performing Arts Center. This equipment would include a specialized projector for projecting background images, additional wireless microphones, and new set pieces for the larger stage. We are raising this money through Seat Donations. In recognition of every donation of $250.00 or more, we will place a small plaque on one of the seats in the new Performing Arts Center. We appreciate the generous spirit of the people of Aberdeen and appreciate their support of the Arts. We have met our goal of purchasing a new piano and it will soon be installed at the Performing Arts Center.

The Aberdeen Arts Council is 501(c)3 non-profit and all donations are tax-deductible.
